Atrial Myxoma
Atrial Myxoma
An atrial myxoma is a non-cancerous tumour located within the heart; usually in the upper chambers. It protrudes from the wall (septum) which separates the two sides.
Atrial myxomas tend to be more common in females, and in some cases, can be inherited.
