Entropion
Entropion
A condition where the eyelids turn inwards. This condition usually affects the lower eyelids. Entropion can be eased with lubricants but surgery is still advisable as prolonged contact of the skin and lashes on the surface of the eyes can cause further damage and may result to vision loss. The symptoms of Entropion can start with discomfort and redness of the eyes due to irritation. Prolonged contact of the lower eyelids with the eyes can cause redness and inflammation. Watery and mucous discharge are also symptoms of Entropion. It is best to seek medical attention especially when there are signs of decreasing vision.
