Mechanism: May inhibit serotonin release from platelets and white blood cells and inhibit platelet aggregation.  It may also have an anti-inflammatory action through inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis and phosholipase A (Sun-Eldelstein and Mauskop, 2009)
