Epilepsy

Epilepsy is a disorder of the brain, causing people with it to have seizures. Neurons in the brain malfunction and send out abnormal signals. There are several types of epilepsy; as such, it is best considered a group of syndromes, rather than an individual disorder. There are many possible causes for epilepsy, although this is sometimes unknown.
